On June 18, 2021, I volunteered at the Holy Family Day Home in San Francisco to help fill their sandbox. This is an annual event/activity/task the staff undertake to ensure the kids have one of the key pieces of any playground: sand. Emilie Struthers overseas community outreach and was a great host, as was the rest of the team. It was a hot day, so the workout was REAL and it felt great lending some time and “strength” for a great cause.
